Our Business
Established September of 1969 ITE has to date provided many a service to its clients. Servicing a number of industries, from utilities, oil & gas to cement and sugar plants.
Whether administrative and logistics or complete project handling, we strive to offer the highest quality of service through our experienced staff.
What started out as a company representing Philips Telecommunication and PYE Telecommunication, quickly saw the development of the Khartoum telephone exchange system, at that time being one of its best in the entire region. Soon after more Dutch companies were taken on; GEMCO, NEPOSTEL, HOLEC, ADUCO, SW Diesel (formerly known as Stork-Werkspoor) and which finally became Wärtsilä Finland Oy. Over the years many projects were completed and several power stations were erected, some of which were arranged through ITE and Dutch government grants for infrastructure development.
A new era began at the turn of the millennium with the exploration and new discoveries of oil in the Sudan. In the past two decades, ITE & Wärtsilä have installed in excess of 400 Mega Watts (MW) of power and pumping stations , to serve the oil & gas industry. Then came the design, erection commissioning and Operation and Maintenance of the 12 MW power plant in Juba (South Sudan) between the years 2008- 2010. With the successful completion of these projects, other industries such as sugar and cement plants soon joined the list of clients.
Our aim is for strategic alliances with companies, small or large, in developing viable projects. We do believe that our country has much to offer and with that and us in mind let us move forward...
